Day One – Thursday December 3, 2009

After a two-hour delay at the Charlotte Airport we took off for Phoenix at approximately 6:20pm. The flight was about four and a half hours, no soda, no caffeine but plenty of water and juice for the boys. We arrived at the Phoenix airport, got the luggage and vans and headed to the Hyatt Place in Scottsdale. After a quick dinner of pasta and two team meetings the boys headed to bed around 11pm.
